CLIFFHANGER! HAHAHAAA!
Oh, Episode 2.5. I believe that the date with Leslie was only our second day of shooting but everyone got into the swing of things pretty fast. HUGE thanks to the wonderful folks at Fire on the East Side who let us film in their beautiful upstairs space.

An actor prepares...to tweet sadly about Buffy. A lot of comedy GOLD resulted from Simone's sad-tweeting shoot but we ended up only being able to use a fraction of it, mainly because we didn't want Sarah McLachlan or Joss Whedon to sue us.

We tried to get David Bronfman to take his shirt off but couldn't get him drunk enough. That's what happens on these low-budget pictures.

Danny, Naomi and Jennifer set the scene for Simone's hot date.

Finger guns!! We had SEVEN extras on this shoot - lucky number seven. And they were all brilliant!

Chillin' at the bar, pretending to be cruising.

It can be boring on set, so Erin was smart to bring her knitting. Not just a pretty face!

Queeries Mag editor, the always dapper Suzy Malik - check out Amee King's MUCH NICER photos of this shoot over on Queeries Mag.

Gamer nerdz - on Mac AND PC! That's love.

Taking a little direction.

Something that ended up on the cutting room floor is that at the end of the episode, as Simone and Leslie leave the restaurant, they run into "Liesl", an old friend of Leslie's. Leslie and Liesl start speaking German to each other (because Jennifer Morrison, our continuity queen, and Mike McPhaden, actor extraordinaire, both speak German). It looks like they're hitting it off and maybe Leslie's found love after all! And THEN Simone spots her MYSTERY GAL and walks away from the chattering Germans. SCENE.
